Federal law requires that before a child receives a dose of certain vaccines, the child's parents, caregivers, or legal representatives must receive copies of Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Because many parents prefer electronic copies of VISs, and because some parents like to download copies to their smart phones or other mobile devices while still in our offices, we provide links to PDF copies of the most common VISes here on the Pearland Pediatrics web site.
