Dr. Onhaizer (known to many patients as Dr. O) was born in South Houston, only minutes away from Pearland Pediatrics, and grew up in Tomball, Texas. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Texas A & M University. He returned to his hometown to complete his pediatric residency with Baylor College of Medicine. During those three years he also trained in general pediatrics at Pearland Pediatrics. Dr. Onhaizer is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. O, his wife and four sons live in Pearland. In his free time he loves to be with his family, enjoys golfing and playing softball. He also takes a special interest in the pediatric obesity epidemic that plagues our great nation. He is dedicated to helping children make smart decisions and develop good habits now, so that they will transition to healthy adults.
