Gina Goodgame, RDN, LD specializes in pediatric nutrition with a wellness focus. She has lived in many places around the world but is proud to call Texas "home"! She was born in Madagascar, went to highschool in London and lived in Tanzania for 3 years with her husband. She spent most of her childhood years in Houston and returned to the area 10 years ago. Gina completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Texas at Austin and her Dietetic Internship at the University of Houston. She has taught group exercise classes since 2002 and is a NASM certified personal trainer. She has completed several marathons and loves to bike and swim--or really anything that keeps her outdoors and moving! Gina is a registered, licensed dietitian. She enjoys teaching individuals about good nutrition and exercise and motivating them to achieve a healthy life style. She especially loves to work with children and teenagers to develop healthy eating habits that will help them become healthy adults. Being both the daughter of a chef and a farmer, Gina loves to teach people tips to transform fresh food into wholesome family meals. What we fuel our body is like putting gas in the car--over the long term, the type of fuel we choose matters! Gina has experience working with pediatric obesity, weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes, heart disease and gastrointestinal disorders. Gina and her husband live in Friendswood with their son, Greer, and daughter, Genevieve.
