Dr. Decker was born and raised in Texas City, Texas. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Texas A & M University. He returned to the Houston area for his pediatric training at Baylor College of Medicine. After serving as chief resident for a year, he completed a one-year primary care sports medicine fellowship.
Dr. Decker currently lives in Pearland with his wife and children. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Decker promotes a safe and healthy life-style for children of all ages. He is well trained in caring for injured children and children with special needs. Dr. Decker uses his sports medicine expertise by volunteering his time at local schools and caring for the student athletes in the community.
