Dr. Hummel grew up in Richardson, TX. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. She was in private practice for 3 years in the Dallas area prior to relocating to the Houston area with her family. Dr. Hummel is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Pediatric Society.
Dr. Hummel’s interests include newborn care and early childhood development, patient education, and evidence based medicine.
Dr. Hummel lives in Friendswood with her husband and daughter where she enjoys reading, gardening, playing the piano, and cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs and Dallas Cowboys!
